  2. Hi, thanks for presenting your film at Fantasia. I was at tje premiere and enjoyed your movie so much. Congratulation to the whole cast and crew, you all did a terrific job!

And thanks also for discussing the film before and after it’s screening it was very interesting and funny to hear you all.

    Bravo :P.

  3. Hi Darren! just wanted to say that I live in Scotland and I personaly am gonna do my best to spread the word. I’ll be talking on MySpace, Bebo and my game servers to ensure that REPO is the only thing people talk about :P !

  4. actually, some of us who have been anxiously awaiying Repo! are already a quite disappointed . reports from people who saw the movie are that you practically cut all of paris hilton’s scenes from the movie. How disappointing! Was this just a coincidence in editing or did you cave to the paris-haters who try and ruin all of her projects just to help sell the movie?

i think you need to address this….. show some balls and support paris. She’s a great peron and doesn’t deserve a knife in the back from you or anybody affiliated with Repo! She puts up with so much crap from too many people, she shouldn’t get it from you.

  5. I was one of those people who waited in line for hours… IT WAS WORTH IT! ;)

Now what I *really* want… is the soundtrack!! Please!!!

    Keep up the good work,

    Love from Montreal,

  6. Hi, I was too with my girlfriend in the line outside the theatre and like Mia said before me it was totally worth it.

We talked about it all the way back to the hotel and in the 3 hours too QUebec City the next day. I’ll tell everyone i know that your movie is awesome and like nothing i’ve seen before.

I’ve already saw some negative remarks but when we got out of the theatre all i heard was positive remarks, in french and in English… we all know how sometimes we disagree……

Keep up the good work, pass my congrats to Antony Stewart, he does a great job and he got a big ovation even though he was not there.

  7. I really hope the response to FanTasia gets this film a proper wide release. It really deserves it. I want to go to my local theater and watch this film again. This film is one of the best films I’ve ever seen. Sure, this is a film that won’t be for everyone, but it is original and people constantly complain that there isn’t any originality left in Hollywood when there is, and it is Repo! The Genetic Opera.

  8. If you only know how many people, friend and co-workers envied me for having tickets to the show. I am a regular for years of the festival and Repo was the highlight. Can’t wait for the soundtrack. (My fav: I believe was “Chase the Morning”, the one between Mag and Shilo)
I liked Alexa and she is indeed a grown girl with a bright future ahead of her (she was standing almost behind me at the premiere, what a dashing smile!). Bill: genius. Paris deserves more credit than the press would ever admit to. Sarah: beautiful as spring and just as melodic: tell her I am in love with her, but I doubt she’d date a guy as younger as me LOL.
    ‘Merci’ guys.
Hope you liked Montreal despite the French roadsigns.

  9. Me and my boyfriend drove all the way from Saint John , New Brunswick (about 10 hours) for the premiere of Repo, and it was well worth the trip!! The spontaneous heavy rain while we were in line did nothing to put a damper on our evening. I really hope the film will be released in theaters, we will surely be seeing it again at least once, with our friends in tow! Congrats on making such a great film!

  10. So I’ve heard now that Lionsgate has decided not to do a full release at the theater. Thus I am forced to boycott all future Lionsgate releases, including my favorite franchise, Saw, until Repo! gets a full release, the release it deserves. I’m tired of crap in the theaters (constant bombardment of sequels and remakes) and it is time to take a stand for originality and Repo! is it.

  11. I was at the premiere as well, bought the tickets from the beginning of the festival, waited for hours and experienced the rain. TOTALLY worth it!
Very grateful from the before and after commentary and by the way, Paris’ talent was fully acknowledged by everyone after the film (this is for “manja”), even though she wasn’t there.
My friends in Mexico can’t wait to see the movie, hopefully they will be as fortunate as I was to see it… I can’t wait for the release, the soundtrack and DVD to come out!!
Thanks again for such a wonderful movie and congratulations! It will be a huge success!

  12. I have an article already on my blog… I am actually writing another one as off right now. Believe it or not yall have like made me a fan in the past few days (I actually didn’t like it at first and now I am going back on my blog to say how much my mind has changed). You really need to get it out to more cities. I wanna see it in Atlanta hopefully!! Somebody should start up a petition to show how big the fanbase is to get it out and into more theatres!!
